¶ Roof radio antenna masts
K-Space has two triangle pipe antenna masts on the roof. One is on top of chaos room and the other is on top of the office next to the kitchen.
Both antenna masts were installed by Anto at begining of k-space.
¶ Chaos room mast
It used to host 28Mhz and 432Mhz omnidirectional amateur radio antenna. Those were taken down on 2026-03-25 and will be donated to Tallinna Polütehnikum who has more active radio club and higher antenna mast.
It is now hosting since 2026-03-28 an LoRa based MeshCore repeater on 869Mhz.
¶ Kitchen mast
This one is currently hosting a The Things Network LoRaWAN IoT Gateway.
¶ Historical
We use to have few MikroTik SXT 5 deployed on the roof pointed torwards people aparments living near by. Arti use to get 200Mbit/s symetrical this way from K-Space to E.Vilde tee 121 (~500 meters line of sight) back in 2018.
