Looking for something of its own kind, but kayaking down a river is a bit too much? K-SPACE is an infrastructure nest with eye candy event space.
Game together without prior experience, or switch on a retro machine and feel how it all came to be. The corners are packed with interesting hardware: from retired special-built mammoths to simple childhood memories.

- Capacity: 15-30 is great, 40 is cramped in the main room, 50-60 is the practical limit for the floor, in 2 isolated rooms.

Playing together:
- 10 (TODO: confirm amount) Windows XP PCs ready to LAN-game, with hop-in titles such as Quake, TODO, or BYO-games. The named tables can be quickly cleared.
- Adjacent, a variety of old video game consoles with multiple controllers and displays. Some museum PCs can play multiplayer as well.
- Quiet corners with unique vibes, and a living museum to explore.
Remote-friendly presentations:
- Wireless hand, lav, and head microphones. Crisp room audio microphone (sometimes too good, picks up chatter, requires a person on the mute button).
- Projector with HDMI capture (adapters include: USB-C, Mini-DP, VGA) to Streaming PC with 1 Camera (ask if you need more), whiteboard (and working markers).
- Speakers (Streaming PC or Bluetooth), which also work for microphone amplification when carefully controlled.
The boring parts:
- Tour, including server room and retro machines. See below for paid activity, 'Turning on a server'.
- Review the rooms beforehand unannounced on Thursday evenings, or info@k-space.ee.
- Wi-Fi and rock-stable wired, better than the average office. Parking, must be registered. 1 WC + multiple a floor below. Professional cleaning.
- K-SPACE members have 24/7 access to the floor, but are asked to use other rooms during private events.
Everything above is included in price. The event space can and is regularly used for dining. There is a small Kitchen with tableware and a Coffee machine on-location. Catering options from the adjacent buildings.

¶ Activity: Turning on a server
Challenge for up to 16 teams of 2-3.
Estimated 30m .. 1.5h and 80€ .. 120€ depending on the difficulty.
There is a pile of servers. Turn one on, how hard can it be?
Features running around, trust in communication dead-zones, live feed, logical/critical thinking under pressure, multiple solutions and permission to go ham from instructions while hands-on with the real thing.
Difficulties and variations include (all optional):
- Troubleshooting.
- Document what you did, and repeat with a different team and more variables.
- Sabotage and defend against other teams. For advanced high-paced teams (can run alongside easier difficulty).
- Legacy enterprise servers for seasoned administrators (can run alongside easier difficulty).
