¶ Maintenance
Members are expected to clean up after themselves. This is a long-term serious problem threatening closure of K-SPACE (writing as of 2024). We are tired of cleaning up after you (and children at home).
Management members (info@k-space.ee) are responsible for:
- Hailing a cleaner. This is expected to happen around 2 times per month.
- Ordering supplies.
Anything else is the responsibility of members themselves, including:
¶ Trash
NB! The full trashbin is way too heavy, empty it earlier!
- Trashbins outside are to the left when exiting from the ground door.
- If you're hosting an event please make sure the trash gets to the trashbins as well.
- Please take care of separating paper/cardboard etc from mixed waste.
- Electronic waste does NOT go there!
¶ E-waste
Pile e-waste in a cardboard box in the front, so that they can be disposed of responsibly.
K-SPACE is not a place to bring your old electronics!

¶ Sorting
Sorting is mandatory, you will thank yourself later. Use asset tags located on the shelf in Chaos room, and add your items to Inventory. Any unmarked items are deemed the right to be thrown away.
- Woodworking items are located at or outside the dusty room.
- Servers, and related items are in the server room, or across from the server room.
- Chaos has electronics.
- Cables and PSUs on the left side of the wall.
- Components in the rack to the left side.
- Tools on the right side.
- Coworking space is to be kept clean, usable for events.
- The walls are for showcase retro pieces, larger tools.
- Some PC-related / misc items in the coridor. (NB! Do not leave your junk!)
- Lift room across from the server room:
- Long-term retro storage / ingest. (NB! Do not bring your junk without first asking!)
- Storage (corner of coworking):
- Large PC-accessories: Monitors, keyboards, machines. Small ones in Chaos.
